For the next few minutes, the current Republican leader Newt Gingrich shocked hardcore conservatives and several members of the GOP presidential debate panel on Tuesday night saying that he believes that if people that came here illegally many years ago, and who pay taxes and are positive members of their community should get to stay.

Newt Gingrich appears to be the new flavor of the week. While his ego is as massive as his head, he is gaining traction among desperate conservatives searching for the answer to Obama. At least for now, Mr. Gingrich holds the lead in this pack of sick and diseased wolves. He is leading in part due to his performance in the debates where he has become known for verbally going on the attack with the moderators. Watch this video for highlights of his attacks:



Mr. Gingrich seems very arrogant in GOP debates to most, but unlike most presidential hopefuls this seems to help him because he can back up his attitude with experience. Republicans want to fight Obama with experience and strong conservative values and Newt fits that mold.

However, in case anyone misses this announcement, don't worry, surely next week and after another circus style debate performance we will likely have a new flavor and it won't be Newt the fig! One thing is for sure, they are quickly running out of republicans to be their favorite. Who will be next week, it's anyone's game!

Herman Cain's Brain Fart on Libya!

Yesterday Herman "Pizza Boy" Cain had two 10 second brain farts when asked about if he agreed or not with how Obama handled the Libya conflict, a very specific question. He pauses, for an uncomfortably long time after being asked and then stalls while he tries to remember if Libya was the country with Muammar Gaddafi or if he was confusing it with another country with a tyrant. He then finally, emphatically responds "SPECIFICALLY, what are you asking me?" Hilarious!



He also said that as the president he would have listened to everything congress and the military leaders had to say, and then he alone would make the decision. Hmm, not sure if we want a Pizza CEO in office. But it's okay Herman, you're only human. We all have brain freeze from time to time. But next time do please do some more research on the middle east. We need a president that can do more than just balance the finances.

Wow, he really outdid himself this time. This local yokel Texan delivered again in this week's debate. This is beginning to be a trend for ol' Rick. He is not a good debater and saying "Oops" on national television because you forgot the department of energy just punctuates this.
